for those who have a b18b in there civic how does the car pull stock? wanna swap something that pulls hard and chirps the wheels through gears my d16 just aint doin especially since its a dx. would the b16 feel faster or the b18b cause of the extra tourqe.

 

been covered millions of time. ls will have more bottom end and b16 will have more top end, i would go gsr and have both

 

I would take the B16 anyday over the B18B. The tourqe difference is not tremendous to begin with and you'll end up with a faster car to begin and end with. There's other engine options out there to, it all depends on what you're looking to do with your car.

 

if you had to make a choice between top end and lower end wich is better for 1/4 mile

 

if you a ls with a b16 tranny the ls would take the b16 all day
