Default York County, Pennsylvania Emissions Inspection or decal?

I need to get my swapped CRX inspected.
Are there any friendly shops in York County, Pa that won't mind that my B series engine doesn't have an EGR like the HF engine did?

Is there any way to buy a CRX Si inside hood decal that doesn't show an EGR?

i wouldnt worry about it, when I went for my emissions visual consisted of him looking at the cat then the motor, and I guess he thought everything was stock (says 1600cc on my sheet lol) maybe they just arent that hardcore about it here in harrisburg

Say you replaced hoods if worse comes to worse.

That's what I was thinking of doing, problem is they can use the VIN to see what it came with.
I was also going to throw in a, "It passed last year!"
I'm 30 so I do have that going for me.
Another good thing is, CTR exhaust manifold and cat (OEM appearing), no CAI, OEM manifold, no bling under the hood.

Best example ever of anti-bling was the person who hid their CAI IN a stock intake arm and box, now I just need to see if I can find the picture.

I don't think you have too much to worry about in PA as far as swaps as long as the engine is from the same year or newer than the car and that you have all the emissions equipment. Warning new cat's will fail you on an inspection. My car is registered in my home state of PA and I just put on a new cat before the inspection and it failed. I never heard the reason why but it stunk to high hell. So the moral of the story is put some miles on a new cat until the smell goes away before having your emissions done.

Here in Sterling, Pa I can give any of the several redneck-owned shops a 20$ and they will pass anything within reason. Last 3 inspections I never even had to open to hood.

Yeah, I just take it to my friend at Pep boys and he passes it for me. We just put another car on the emission machine, but slap the sticker on my car so the print out is from another car but know one is aware of it.

HAHA, yeah, I know, I can think of a few places in other counties that I used to go to but with the new smog ****, it has to be done in my county.

Hell, I used to know a guy who would sell me just the inpection sticker, no car needed.

haha i took my 90 rusted hatch to mienike and some lady was there as the receptionist and she was came out and had this really really shocked/confused look on her face and she was like...

"uh,, we cant pass your car, it doesnt have the stock engine, it has a DOHC V-TEC, [her jaw was like on the ground when she said this]"

and i was like "really!?!?!" like i didnt FUKCING know you stupid bitch.

so it wouldnt pass unless i had the stock intake that came with it, and becuase my vaccum lines werent tight enough even though you are not aloud to touch anything when you do pre obd2 visual inspection.

also i had one of those pvc breathers on and the guy said that wouldnt work, and i argued with him for like four minutes on how it does the same exact thing as being hooked to the intake, LETS AIR IN THE CRANKCASE but he wanted to be an *** so i left. then my friends dad took it for me, told me the engine was put in tomorrow right? i said yes, so he put it on the machine, coudlnt find a pressure test plate for my gas cap so he riped one off of some taurus in the shop and passed it lol.

yeah but if you need any shops i know some in york/hanover area that couldnt even tell you what color it was after you left.

one old guy, who is retired now, wouldnt look at it at all, just ask if you had new brakes and "took your word for it".

haha he lost his license like 5 times or something.

so pm me if you are still looking.
