SUPER CHARGER QUESTION
Would a Jackson Supercharger be worth buying. My car is a daily driver so, I wanted to know if it would be bad to have it? I have a exhaust, AEMV2 intake, DC HEADERS and a VFtec controller.

yeah thats true. You get a better gain of power out of a turbo too. Might consider but, im not sure yet. I don't really race on the track and drive my car daily.
Researching more into what a supercharger and a turbo actually do to your ride and how they work, will aid in your ultimate decision. Some basic things you may or may not know are:
I am not a professional, just an enthusiast. So please take into consideration that comments are my own and may not be completly accurate.
supercharger: the added power is immediate. the charger works off of your cars crank and pully system. so when the crank is spining your getting that power immediatly. because the charger works off of the crank, it's looses some power through the belts, as an end result. The charger basically sucks air into the engine. With the charger, you'll see the most power gain in the lower RPM range, but dies off in the higher RPM range. I'd say between 1-3K RPM is peak area for a charger. Many people argue that charging a teg isn't so great since our b18's are higher revving engine's (7-8K).
Turbo: works on exhaust gases. depending on your turbo and it's size it can kick in full spool at anywhere from 2K RPM to 3K or above. Basically it bolts on the exhaust side of the engine and takes time to fully spin. so you wont feel it "instantly". Alot of people reccomend the turbo on a b18 engine simply because it's more efficent and makes more power lbs. for lbs. Besides, it doesnt take very long to reach 2-3K on a b18 anyways. And a proper sized turbo can make power all the way untill your redline and then some.
Anyways, it's really up to you and for what your looking for. And im sure there's much more benfits and downside to each application. Some say the chrager is less maintenance, with less parts likely to fail. Some say chargers suck because of the engine style. Also take into consideration your power goal. where do you wnat to be and can you make it reliably with what form of FI.
food for thought...

i have a 9lb. jrsc on my gsr that i drive daily (when its not in the body shop). i like it, i've had turbo cars before, including a turbo teg, the jrsc is a nice change, it's not the fastest thing in the world, but it does make some decent power and it's fun to drive to work. hope this helps you some
its like this. Get the supercharger if you dont have a big ego and can take getting beat by a neon srt4. Turbo if you have a huge ego and cant loose. or something.
the jackson racing cant have a fmic because it bolts directly up behind hte block. also with the JRSC you'll only be pushing 210whp vs a vortech's 286hp....think about it and they almost cost the same well...maybe about a grand more but totally worht it. or u could even go with the Procharger with the stock 9lb pulley that comes with the kit you'll be pushing 308whp with proper tuning. and it even comes with an intercooler not an aftercooler that comes with the vortech.
