Default clutch change help...

i need to do a clutch change, 94 d15b7 all stock. the shop charges 250 labor, and i dont have that much money as of right now.

i might as well do it myself and save the money, so i was lookin at the tranny and it dont look that heavy or big, so i guess a jack + wood block to hold the motor, and take off all the bolts from the transmission, shift linkage, starter, trans ground, axles, and i can get to the transmission? and i also heard these honda transmissions are hella light, u dont need a jack to lower it or sometihng.. is that true? thanks

THEY WEIGH a good 80 lbs. they dont look heavy but theyre a lot heavier than u expect but if you have some muscle if should be no problem to lift it. u dont even need a wood block, i used just the jack. u dont need a jack to lower it but u need one person under the car and one in the engine bay to support it. the stronger persone obviously on the bottom. and the same way to put it back on. compared to big rwd v8 trannies they are light
