i recently installed a set of ebc rotors and ebc red stuff ceramic pads on the front of my 01 ls, now there is a clicking noise that speeds up as the cars speeds up. is this because they are sloted? has anyone else had this happen? it's really annoying and i will change my rotors if this is the case, thanks for the input.

 

the slots wont do that, are you sure everything is done right, the parts are right?

 

i'm sure they are done right and are the right parts. could it be my CV joints? thats about the only other thing i can think of. but it seems wierd that both would go bad at the same time, plus it's only a clicking, i can't feel them slapping or anything else that would indicate that they are bad or lose. any input would be welcome thanks.

if your boots are not ripped open, I doubt its your cv joints
