What is the biggest DP for a T3/T4 turbo? It looks like the biggest you can get is a 2.5" flange and then feather it out to a 3". Is this true?

Hey Tom what 's going on it jason with the SOHC coupe. Yea I was looking and the biggest flange I can find is a 2.5" that bolts on to the turbo. But the reason I havn't ben down there is because someone tried to steal the car so I have been investing the money into security ****. Saving now for the tune.

 

I have a 3" downpipe on my t3/t04e, 4" of downpipe might get tricky when routing it out to the exhaust.

 

The 'GT 4 bolt' turbine housing has a 3" diameter bolt circle. Getting a 3" downpipe on requires that you make some clearance 'dents' at the bolts holes.

I have no idea on the older 'Ford 5-bolt' turbine housings.

Although 2.5" is about the biggest that you can do right off the flange if you want a smooth transition.
