galvinize + steel = ?

Can Galvinize weld up to steel? if so how good?

grind the galvanizing off the surface.

and invest in a bottle of milk of magnesia (sp?)

i hate welding galvanize, soo unhealthy.

Wear a respirator because the zinc in the fumes is very unhealthy. Galvanizing is through out the metal so grinding it off will not do much.
