BLOWN B18A, WHATS NEXT???????????
Well, I have onlyy had the car on the road for 3 months, new rebuilt B18a. And the son-of-a-bitch blew up on my way home from work last Thursday. I bought the car from a guy that I am friendly with, it turns out that the bearings that attach the bottom of the piston to the crank were not attached/bolted together properly. I don't exactly know all the lingo yet I'm still learning. So now I need to make a decision what monster I am going to create now. After speaking with my mechanic, and friends I believe I'm going to go B20. I'm still not sure yet if anyone happens to read this I am asking you for 2 things. 1. What would be a good engine for the 1989 C-rex(My trans I believe is still good.Y1). 2. What is a good site to look on for JDM engines. Please help I cant survive w/o my car. Thank You, and much love to all the honda phanatics out there.

look in here.... you are about the 1,0000,0,00,0,0,00,0000,,00,0,0,0 person to ask what motor to put in your car. there are many different circumstances you need to consider.
1)what is the goal for the car?
2)how much money do you have/want to spend?
3)are you capable of doing the work your self?
ect.ect.
as for good sites for motors.... everybody will stand by hmotorsonline.com , steve is awsome. but once again use the search button before asking questions because you are new and people will give you so much **** for not searching before you post.

Try this site for excellent service and quality @ a reasonable price.
http://www.hmotorsonline.com (ask for Steve)
BTW, build your own engines if you really want to make a monster. It'll save you the hassle of going to a mechanic and friends for help. Oh yeah, check out this site and buy a manual while your at it, Helm's Inc..

It all comes down to what kind of money you want to spend.
Personally, I would go get another B18A and boost it later on.
I am not made of money so the inexpensive nonVTEC B18 would be great aaAAANNNNNNdddd with boost they are pleanty fast!
