135A welder good size
i am going to buy a welder. i have already decided on a millermatic but will 135A work on basically everything automotive. the only thing i am going to use it for is cars.

Well.. you need to be more specific on what "car stuff" you are using it for.
I bought a 80 dollar Harbor Freight Flux core welder and its great. But I only intended on using it for making a few downpipes, and tossing together a few exhausts.

it is going to be used for everything on cars. frames, body work, roll cages, exausts... i know im going to get a miller i just want to make sure that 135A is going to be enough
I have a 135 Millermatic and it seems to be a good machine. The 135 could do everything you listed in your post, but a 220 volt or higher machine will do a better and more consistant job. If I had known I needed to put in a 20 amp breaker or higher to run the 135 without constantly flipping the switch, I might have just gone ahead and installed a 220 volt socket in my garage anyways and saved up a bit more for the 175.
