Default HELP MISFIRE

yes another frankenstein question, my motor stalls at 5.5 k rpms. The motor did not have a crank fluctuation sensor so i installed one. A code is still thrown but now the code reads a misfire in the # 1, 3, and 4 cylinder. Does anyone have any clues to what this could be. Please help me.

The owner told me that his old motor threw a misfire code, now his swap throws one. I used the same ckf sensor from his old stock motor on the swap. The chilton book says that if the sensor detects too much fluctuation in the crank it will conclude that there was a misfire. Do you think this could be my problem? Do you think the sensor was already bad?
