My integra is jealous... she wouldn't start this morning. Any advise?
About a month ago I spent the day working on my 240. Later that night I went to move the integra back in the driveway, and she wouldn't start. I didn't get the chance to mess around with the teg because I had something else to drive and didn't have the time.
Swapped in some fresh spark plugs about 2 weeks later, and she turned right over!
Fast forward to today.... Again, I spent much of the day on sunday cleaning and prepping my 240's engine bay for the swap. I take the teg to the store last night and everything is fine...
....I got out this morning to go to work, she won't start
I don't understand, for the last 2 or 3 weeks the car has run prefect like it always does.. what could have gone bad, or was going bad to cause this? Obviously, I plan on searching about this, but I just got to work so I just had to vent a little.

Check the battery and the terminal connections. Batteries will act up in the cold and be fine when they sit in the sun for a little while.
Check for possibly main relay. When it won't start again turn the key to the off position, then to the position right before start, off, almost to start, off, almost to start.. Do that about 7x then try starting it. My bet is is that it'll start right up.

I just had the same problem with my Cx and it was the distributor going crazy on me, got a new one and everything is fine, but there are a lot of things it could be, just check them one at a time

Well, I hear the fuel pump turn on, but that doesn't mean anything. Just eliminates one possibily.
What gets me is this is what happened a few weeks ago, changing the spark plugs fixed it. Now all of a sudden it's back to the way it was. I won't be able to pull the plugs, or really check anything else this week because it's going to rain all week, and I have no way of getting it into the garage.
Argh...

Wow, your idea worked like a ******* charm. So, it's my main relay you think? How can I go about figuring out what is causing this? I haven't priced the relays but, what do they run?
I don't think I'll drive the car until I get it figured out. I have other cars, so no big deal there. I just don't want this trick to stop working, and leave me stranded somewhere. Thanks man!
when ur cars dies and don't start can u hear the fuel pump prime the gas from the back seat? I had this problem with the main relay in my civic the car would start fine on cold days but after the relay gets hot and i start the car it turns over but won't start. I would have to turn the ignition off and on til I hear the pump come on then it will start. I went and bought a relay at the junkyard for $5 (they didn't know what it was). Advance and auto zone don't carry the relay, where i live.
Could be the relay, distributor, fuel pump itself, and bad wiring anything. You just may have to check one at atime with a multimeter or other good working parts.

How much does the main relay cost? I'll check with the local Honda dealership, but last time I called they were out of my oil filter.
If it isn't too much, I'll probably just swap it out and go from there.
