i was about to just buy this cold air intake to run my upper chargepipe for my turbo project, but i'm concerned about the fitment issues in a swapped car. i remember reading a thread awhile back as a rule of thumb for knowing which cai to buy with what swap into what car, but i can't find it. i'm more concerned if it will be able to make it through the hole in the frame without little to no modifications.

if you've done this in your eg civic, then please chime in because i'm pretty sure its done nearly the same way in a del sol.

 

and yes, i plan to get a skunk2 IM in the future as well.

 

I used the 99/00 Si intake for my gsr swapped 94 hatch. I was using the stock IM. Maybe this pic will help.
