weird tranny/clutch problem....
so I just installed my action 2ks clutch and ACT street lite flywheel but I've been having this weird issue. First off I have a 90 CRX Si with a B16A and S1 tranny.
What happens is that it doesn't like going into gear with the clutch pressed all the way to the floor. It's a bitch to get into 1st gear. I've adjusted to the point where I can be ok while driving just when I'm stopped it won't go into first unless..... I go from 3rd to 4th a few times and then it goes in, as easy as butter, into first. Samething with reverse?
Engagement point is about 2-3 inches the floor and seems pretty smooth since I filled her back up with pennzoil synchromesh. Another thing is if I'm in gear and coming to a stop with the clutch all the way in still in gear it feels kinda jerky like it's still slightly engaging, is this normal?
Now this is what gets me, before with my stock PP and clutch I didn't have these problems with 1st gear or stopping and I've had to relearn my car all over again. Any idea's?
Some say that my cable is overstretched and some say the PP is too tough (3000 lb dual diaphram), but I just don't know what to do. Is it my synchros or something? well regardless I'm seriously thinking of selling this PP and getting a ACT stage 1 or something.
Any advice or suggestions are always welcome.
O yeah, for those that are wondering why I went with that clutch I'll be boosted soon just FYI

Not too familiar with that clutch, but maybe that's just the way it is. I know on my stock CRX, I have that problem sometimes too, not wanting to go into first or reverse without going into another gear first. I think it's just the way the synchros are. HTH

yeah I know what you mean, from all the research I've done I don't see many/any Cable tranny guys running that clutch but a lot of hydro guys seem to love it.
can anyone else help me out?
