Hey, i have an 95 civic hatch, and the stock motor isnt cuting it. But i dont have alot of money, so i was wondering if anyone can give me a few ideas on a good engine for a cheap $price$. I was originaly Gonna buy a sohc vtec, and eventually make it turbo, but it still wouldnt be fast enough. So ive desided that i want a dohc, I was thinking a b18 block with a b16 head, but idk. So plz give me some advise on a good cheap engine.

 

i dont think you can put cheap and fast in the same sentence.Use the all mighty search feature this site is equipped with and see what you can find.

 

Cheapest swap would be a B18B and then just go from there as cash allows.

You must not know what your taking about if you think a turbo d series wouldn't be fast enough. People that underestimate those motors suck!

And, unfortunatley, many people do. I hope to prove them otherwise by the end of the year.
