Default repair question

is something like this repairable ?

this is not mines, but i did recently purchased the same header . i have read several cases of this incident happening to their header . and i wanted to know for future reference if a local muffler shop could repair something like this ? because i was thinking of bringing my header to a local muffler shop to weld off the hanger and patch it up before i install it . is this a good idea ?
