My friend is having a problem with his VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) on his GS-R swap, we have another friend with a D16 laying around in his garage, I was wondering if the VSS are interchangeable, we wanna see if its the problem before going to spend $$ on a new one. Thanks!

 

yeah...you can use the one off the d series hydro tranny. we've done it before with no problems.

 

. what he said. i've done the same thing as well. VSS went bad on my GSR, so i swapped it over from my d15.
