Sounds like your GSR head is more built then the ITR.

Why are you swapping in an ITR anyway? Your motor should keep up or take an ITR with that head alone.

i say your gs-r would have more power than a stock itr motor.

what tranny are you going to run with the itr? cause if you have the itr tranny you should bolt it up to the gs-r.

but your gs-r sounds like it would have more hp over a stock itr.

those are my 2cents

So wait.. Maybe its because you aren't being to clear.. But are you swapping just the head or the entire engine/tranny out? If thats what your doing, then the R will be slower. For sure.

Kind of a tough call. If its the 98+ JDM ITR swap, you want the 4.75 final drive and the LSD. Buy those seperate and you have a grand in parts alone, no labor to install included. With the problems you listed and what you seek, you might be better off with the ITR swap in the long run.

good call, your gsr is already built up, why downgrade, and throw in the same money to build up the ITR? if its broken fix it, don't start over and spend double the money... just my opinion
