Default for boosting....... JDM ITR?? or GSR???

which would be better and why???both the cams are good for boost..itr head slight port n polish...these will both be built blocks...valvetrain in head upgraded..

also how would the tranny's compare with boost??which would be better? and is the itr lsd any good??or would a gsr with a quaife own that jdm itr tranny with lsd???

thanks alot..decisions, decisions..

anyone know which head makes most power??? flowcharts ive seen before seems gsr head outflows itr and b16,.

the type r head flows better, would you build the bottom end? if so go w/ the T-R hense the head and if going to boost on stock internals it just depends on if you want high comp. or not
edit: oops you are building it, also gsr is cheaper so you could port flow the gsr w/ the money you'd save on the motor

First off, if you look at Earls flow charts, the b16 and ITR heads embarass the gsr head.

GSR cams tend to be better for boost (heresay)

If you building the block, dont spend all the money gettin a jdm itr block when your swapping the parts out anyway. Get a gsr block, and slap the ITR head on it.

Is the ITR tranny a JDM also? what year? I would love to throw the "N3E" 4.78 FD in my car. You will love how the shorter gears rip, just make sure you get good tires. Put the quaife LSD in place of the ITR. I "heard" ITR LSD breaks after 350whp. (hearsay)
