I was wondering would I be at more risk of suspension bind if I burned out my factory bushings and replaced them with teflon line spherical bearings.
You will have an issue with rear trailing arm bushing. It is designed to allow a certain amount of flex laterally and can/will bind if you do not allow some sort of lateral slider. However, if you are swapping purely rotational bushings (ie. control arms) with spherical, then you will not change the suspension geometry.
Do a search to find out about other issues with spherical such as harshness and maintenance.

If the spherical bearing's movement is not restricted on the mounting shaft it will have the ability to move laterally. RealTime did theirs this way on the DC2.
