chipped P13 + nitrous? bad idea?
ok, heres the deal, I have a 93 prelude that had an h23 with STR cam gears and had the timing advanced and i was gonna run a 75 shot of zex and set the timing back to stock to compensate for the spray. i spun a main bearing before i ever got the zex installed. I just finished swapping an h22a into the car, stock cam gears and was gonna chip the ECU, I've heard the Skunk2 chip advances the timing, do you think it would be a bad idea to spray with the chip unless i have some other way of setting the timing back?

That is a really bad idea to squeeze on a chipped ecu with an advance timing. I did the same thing and my car started to detinate and the distributor was all the way retarded too. So please dont do the same mistake as me get yourself an ecu chipped for nitrous or buy a Hondata system that is Nitrous compatible.
