Ride Comfort of 195/55/15 compared to 195/50/15
Hello I am in the market for some new rubber for my fat-fives. I will be lowering the car about two inches on tokico illuminas and omnipower sleeves. Anyways I just want to know if the ride is noticably harsher with the 50's than the 55's. I figure since i will have aftermarket suspension on it wouldnt even matter. What are your thoughts, and experiences. Thank you.
I think the suspension changes you are making are going to have a far, far greater negative effect on the ride comfort than the difference between these two tire sizes will have, which will be pretty insignificant. Not that you shouldn't make those suspension changes - that's up to you and your personal preferences - but I'm surprised you would be making them if ride comfort is a concern, that's all...

That's what I meant. I just can't keep my posts that short.

No, I know my ride is going to be stiff as hell, its just that why make it even stiffer? You know what I mean?
Yeah I figured the difference in tire size would not even make a noticable difference with ta stiff suspension. Thanks guys.
