Default 195/50 15 or 195/45 15

I just ordered some 15" rims and they'll be coming in soon. my car is lowered and my buddy suggested i got 195/ 45 15 tires to fit them in the wells. but i've been told to go with the 50s. how well will the 50's fit in my wells? o, and i have adjustable coilovers, fyi. thanks

Go 195/50/15 or 205/50/15.

if you're gonna be tucking or slamming the car, of course smaller the wall, the lower
you can go, however, if you don't mind lowering so much, 50 wall isn't bad, either.

i don't think there's that much of difference in between 45 and 50 wall, though.

I could definitely tell difference of ride and height adjust in between 45 and 55, though.

Don't go with the 45. When upgrading rims you should always go more rim less tire so that the overall circumference of your wheel and tire package is the same as OEM. That way it doesn't throw off suspension geometry, gearing, or your spedometer...

I have 205/45/16 Falken Ziex's and they're awesome. Handles really good, and the grip is also very good.

yea but that's on a 99-00 Civic Si.

96-00 Coupes/sedans use bigger tires than 92-95 Civics, 93-97 del Sols, and 96-00 Civic hatchbacks.
The OP must take that into consideration.

OP: the size you want for your del Sol is a 195/50/15. 205/45/15 will work too, but 195/50/15 will fit best in the wheelwells.
