hey people. i just needed to know if anyone knows where to get like a mugen style lip kit for a del sol? i don't want a body kit but what i am looking for is
99-2000 SI looking sideskirts
99-2000 SI front lip or a ctr looking
and just a rear lip not a whole bumper

all suggestions are greatly appreciated

I heard that the Mugen lip on the Ek fit perfect(never tried) and the mugen lip on the EG wiil fit all you need to mod is on the top of the lip which hits the bottom of the stock middle bumper grill...

 

civic lips dont fit "perfectly" if they say this then obviously they A) dont own a sol or B) havent installed one. they think they can just buy a civic lip and bring it home and it will bolt on perfect. . its called modification and unless its actually made for the del sol you will end up learning how to do it.

yes, you will need to do some modifications in order for a Civic lip to fit a Sol.

 

it depends on the year of your del sol.... if it's a 93-95 then all u have to order is a lip for a EG 92-95 civic and it fits PERFECT

the 92-95 civic lip does not fit perfectly. i tried to put on my friends lip and it does not line up at all. it need modification. im waiting fot my other friend to buy his ek4 sir lip already so i can try it on before he gets it. then i will know if those will line up with the del sols.

 

wrong civic eg lips dont fit for ***** on the 93-97 sol, bout 1 inch to 1 1/2 short on one ide depends where you start the mounting point from the wheel well. found out the har way, but theres alot of trimming and bending, good luck to you guys . al;so abs ***** sucks so dont use it because cracks easily. well im going to experiment with 99 urethane lipssssssssss

 

try looking around online for places that sell lips specifically for the del sol. I have seen mugen style and si style lips that were specifically made for the del sol.

 

man i dont know what the problem is ive had a 94 civic lip on my 93 del sol front bumper it looked perfect if i had pics id upload but i dont have that bumper ne more

 

I have done lip kits, body kits, and all sorts of stuff on my other vehicles before, and from my experience, I have always had to do a little modification to get any of them to fit perfectly, even kits made specifically for that car.

hahahahha well i got tired of people saying they hear this and that so i went and got me a 99 type r lip, guess waht fits pretty god damn perfect. haha but i got the urethane one though. if i knew it fit this good i would of gotten the greddy lip for the 99. but to let you all know, i put it on my 97 sol bumper not 93-95. but i think it should fit them perfect too. only differnce is that 93-95 are .4 shorter

 

the 92-95 civic lip does not freaking fit... how do i know this? because i just bought one and i cannot return it. by the way, it's a type-r style ABS 1. now... you all can stop saying that **** fits because it does not. hahaha 55$ i could've used that buying gay ****.
