Quick question.... I have a JDM civic and am having issues wiring my S-AFC. I need to know what wire on the MAP sensor hooks up to the pressure wire off the S-AFC. These are the wires and colors on my MAP sensor. According to everyones pinout diagrams, my colors and pinouts dont match those. The car is an EG9. Thanks

from top to bottom top- pink / white stripe
center- green / blue stripe
bottom- yellow / green stripe


Any suggestions???? Need serious help with this

I have them but the Pin that is shows does not match the color of the pinout diagram posted here. I have those three colors for the MAP sensor, and only two of those are on the thread here. So my question was which one since the manual, diagrams, and pinouts dont match each other.

According to the diagram, I am suppose to hook it up to D17 (white wire), my D17 in pink and white.

Hmm... thats odd. You have OBD1 or OBD2? OBD1 is suppose to be a white wire. Maybe someone just mixed it. But D17 is the pin that your suppose to tap into thats the important part.

Tap into D17 and see what happens. Being as its the map sensor 1 of 2 things could happen (other then starting)

1. wont start at all
2. really crappy idle.

I have been debating this for a while but I think the JDM civic has diff wiring hrness or wire colors anyway.

I am tapped into D17 and that is a pink with white strip wire......just to double check that I checked the three wires on the MAP sensor under the hood and sure enough it is pink with white.

Isn't the middle wire the signal wire.....I know thats how the o2 works.

also, the car throws a CEL right away and boggs out at 3500 rpm while driving...
