im kinda stuck right now. im not sure wut to put in my hatch right now. my car is a 91 si hatch with a b16a right now. which setup out of the b18c5 block with b16a head or a k20 type s motor will give make me faster. i would go lsvtec or crvtec but i want something more reliable. and im willing to to put down 6 to 7 g's on this project. so which is better.

My $.02, since you already have a B-series in your hatch, build a B18C block to 2.0L, and buy a good head package. You'll move well.

its a daily driver. i want to use it for track and a couple freeway runs.

In that case the B16a is your best bet.

 

I would put a D16y8 in that biatch. But swap the head out for a D16z6 head - a reverse mini-me swap if you will. That would be sick!!
