Default TurboXS MBC question

Is there a BIG difference between the Standard boost controller and the High Performance boost controller? I'm only going to boost a max of 10psi. TIA

i believe the high proformance will allow you to boost higher - I think the cut off on the standard is like 15-17psi

you should be fine with the standard at 10psi

there is a huge difference.the high perf controller will allow you to build full boost until you reach your set boost pressure.it will spool much faster.

Well I got it. Gotta say it does increase boost repsonse. I picked it up for $100 BRAND NEW shipped, not a bad deal. Also, I mounted it with my TIAL and ran into NO problems, like other members were having with this combo. Oh yeah, is heat a concern when dealing with the TurboXS? I wouldn't think so, cause everything is manual(Ball/Spring mechanism) I have it mounted just off the VTEC solenoid bracket.
