Brake Lights, where did they go!?
The last couple of days I've been working on my car. 93 Civic VX
I've done these things:
Plugs/Wires
Cap/Rotor
Oil Change
Fuel Filter Change
New Carpet
New Gas Tank (other had a hole)
New o2 Sensor
Before I touched the car to do any of this work, the brake lights were fine. 1 Light was out but the rest were a-ok. Now when I fire the car up, the normal lights come on, but no brake lights.. is it possible that all the bulbs just blew so no brakes or could it be a wire or something? I checked the fuses and no luck, so I'm at a loss for things to try. Any help is HIGHLY appreciated.

i've had this problem before.. if you are ABSOLUTLEY POSITIVLY SURE.. it's not your fuse or light bulb..
it is MOST definatly going to be your STOP LAMP SWITCH ASSY. it's located on the back of your pedal.. probably has no relation to your maintanence stuff it probably just pooped out b/c it felt like it.. spray WD40 straight on it.. it should work fine again.. check the contact on that switch maybe the wiring or something came loose.. but your pedal should be coming in contact with that switch.. if not go to your dealer buy a switch or ask them to fax you a picture of what it would look like if you don't own a helms.
good luck*

Horn works.
Horn works.
Get out and get an ECU safe* test light, Snap On has a good one, and check the wires in the back. See if they are getting the proper current.
* ECU safe is a relative term. There really is no such thing. =P
