a plug missing.... you mean into the ecu?? you got major problems then man.... there should be 3 plugs into the ecu if you have obd1..... you also have to add 3 wires... 1 for vtec solenoid, 1 for vtec pressure switch and one for the knock sensor and run those wires through the firewall to to the ecu... there shouldne be any plugs missing...

what year is the h22? if the ecu has space for 4 plugs, then it is obd2 and you'll need to find a different harness. if you have 3 plugs on the harness, it would be easier to just get an obd 1 ecu, and use the same harness... are you sure the shop wired the car correctly?

if its a 96 you got a obd2 ecu you need to get a conversion harness from like hasport or skunk2

the harness plug you are missing is not vtec its just more crap that came with the obd2 cars, like said before you only need to wire in 3 wires for vtec

no need for a conversion harness. just get an obd 1 p13 or p28 or gsr ecu. you will still have to add the 3 wires i mentioned earlier. i will have my p13 jdm prelude ecu for sale in a bout a week when i get my p28 if you are still interested by then.

How can you use a obd 1 ecu on an obd 2 motor??? I'm gonna be doing this conversion in then next couple months and this interests me since the 96+ H22's were supposedly built better than the older versions.
