ok..I've got a 91 crx with a b16a1 swap in it..I just replaced the alternator with one from an 91 ls.now the belt is too long...what car should the belt I need come off of...thanks
go to Pepboys, Napa, Autozone and buy a few belts in different sizes. buy ones that are smaller than the one you have now. try fitting some on untill you find the one that fits. then take back the ones that don't fit.
unless someone here actually knows which one you need.
but thats what i did when i needed a belt. don't know which vehicle it was for, but it works.

NAPA # 25-040300 is the shortest I could find that would work..
If that is not long enough try 25-040310..

Just be careful though, a lot of places will have the del sol listed but have it listed as the sohc one.

As the guy above me stated, the si model has vtec. If your talking about the del sol, you need the belt for a 1.6 dohc vtec del sol engine

Wrap a piece of string around the crank and alternator pullies to find belt length.
Pull the alternator forward and get a measerement, push the alternator back and get another measurement. Multiply inches by 25 to convert to millimeters. Now you will know min/max belt sizes. Your going to need a 4pk??? belt.

i got the belt for a 94 del sol vtec......and then asked for the next size down....i think it's a 1/4"smaller then that. Kelly Springfield is the co. Good belt...the teeth are strong.. and none of that rediculous, "you have to bang in the chais for the alt to fit"
