I have got a delsol about a month ago and I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get new roof seals and how hard they are to install. Thanks for any help in advance.

Roof seals? do you mean weatherstripping? http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

Or you can buy some spray silicone, use it every few months and save some $.

I guess it would be weather stiping. It's the seals you can see when you take the roof off.

yeah, and it leaks about 2 inches behind where the targa meets the car in the front, right? Every del sol does this over time. Either get new weatherstripping or silicone it.

nope, silicone is clear, it'll just have a slight shine to it. nobody ever noticed on mine (except for another del sol owner who did the same thing).

You're supposed to routinely silicone the seals anyway, it's in the owner's manual. Not sure if it's in the Haynes or not (mentions how to do it, don't think it mentions a schedule to do it).

I do mine two to three times a year, every spring and fall, occasionally in-between if the root starts squeaking. 8 years without a single leak, so it can be done. (though mine's a 97 so I have the redesigned seals)

New seals are expensive, hopefully you can just clean them with silicone to solve your problem.

I find the Honda logo'd silicone grease you can get from dealerships (special order, and sometimes requires schmoozing since they "don't sell it to the public") works best and a tube lasts a dozen cleanings or more. The OEM spray works too but you have to clean them more often.
