just wanted to post up that i got tired of my p.o.s shift **** so i bought one from a 94 integra. i love those *****. so on my shifter i kinda cut it and re-tapped it. and shifting sucked. so today i get my buddies stock shifter from his crx and i leave the top alone and i just cut the bottom of the shifter in half, cut an inch and a half off then re-welded it and it shifts like never before!!! smoooooth shifts and its pretty short. used to be i had to put it in 1st then go to reverse real kwik. but the new shifter it goes rite in


only thing is i think the boot is smushed up so everytime i put it in reverse the boot falls down. should i put some double sided tape or something?
