Aftermarket horn on a EG hatch, anybody?
Im looking at doing a aftermarket horn on my 92 hatch for several reasons. My stock horn does not work anymore because i have removed all my airbag stuff and have a aftermarket steering wheel. seeing as i hardly ever used my horn i thought there wouldnt be a problem with this. but it seems as of late, people have decided to start cutting me off regularly.
So i'm wondering if anybody has installed a aftermarket horn on theirt EG. where did you mount it and what brand did you use?
I did a search but didnt find much...
Thanks for the help in advance!!

Safe drivers or something like that.

Ever since my parents got their first Caddilac when I was small, I've always loved their horns. When I get an EK this year, I plan on getting one from the bone yard and slapping it on.
As for wiring it up, it shouldn't be a problem. AFAIK, its just a 12v device that's hooked to a switch in the steering wheel. Doesn't get much more simple than that. My bro's friend put one of those Model-T aawoooogaaaa-sounding horns on his newer GTi, it was painless and just a quick swap wire-for-wire, so I doubt that there's anything with a honda that can present a problem. Unless of course you somehow use a horn that uses much more amps than the stock horn.
I'd say mount it where the stock horn was, or for better proclaiming your anger, put it on the bottom of the core support up front.

i used some random boat horn and everything is in the stock place i just clipped the wires right by the oem horn, hooked everything up and mounted it back in the stock position.
