Default Anybody here with a bone-stock EG hatch?

So I have owned my Civic VX for almost 4 years now (bought it in February 2006), and was wondering if there is anyone here who happens to own an unmolested stock EG hatchback to this day. I know it seems a bit odd to make this thread on here since 98% of people here have modified their EG hatch to a varying degree, but I guess in my case, I just never caught the mod bug with the vehicle yet

The only thing that isn't stock is my head unit, but obviously that does not count haha

92 dx hatch.. bone stock.. 235k, just bought it a few months ago.. she burns oil and the rear quarters are rotted, still deciding if i should repair the body and do a swap or find a nicer one.. It IS stock though, even just did a stock-replacement air filter!

I own a '94 CX that is completely stock, that I've had since the very end of '03. Had a short ram intake on it for a little while, because I just had it laying around. And I had some Rota Slipstreams on there for a couple summers, but sold those because I needed the money. I never had the money to do any real modifications to it, so I've been enjoying the great MPG until I can afford to do what I want. It's also given me time to research more for a future build, and I've worked on a lot of other people's cars & learned from their mistakes.

For myself, the fear of theft prevents me from bothering to modify my vehicle. It is even more apparent since this is my sole vehicle after parting with my S14 last year.

Very true, sometimes I'm glad I'm a broke student because I may have wasted money doing dumb stuff on my car. I've learned a lot over the few years I've owned it, now I'm ready to graduate college and swap it.

Whats the fun in keeping it stock? I'm amazed when I see an unmolested Civic hatch, but it's usually some old person or a minority.

Perhaps there's a few who see no point in modifying what is arguably a FWD econobox, especially when they perhaps own another vehicle as their toy. Or maybe they don't want to risk having their hatch stolen if it's been modified.

As for the minority remark, seriously?

I have a bone stock 93 SI, except for exhaust, it was rotted and I had spare 5Zigen catback laying around. Then there is my b18 swapped 92 SI. The best of both worlds I guess.

My 94 VX is stock, other than some random wheels. 215k miles and going strong!

I would love to find a time capsule with a factory-fresh EG hatch. Heck, anything under 100k on the odometer is pretty amazing.

Just bought a bone stock '94 VX from the original owner. 181k original miles and after recent tune-up getting 49-51 MPGs. Aftermarket head unit tho
