I WANT TO BUY THOSE MOTOR MOUNTS BUT IDK HOW THEY IS ARE THEY ANYGOOD. ANYONE GOT PICS ON THEIR CAR

i just put them in last week and have only drove around the block because of no exhaust but they make it MUCH stiffer. just sitting at idle my change its rattling like crazy in the tray and you can feel that the engine doesn't flex as much when you step on it.

 

im curious also, did it help any with wheel hop/ traction???

 

tht one think i keep hearing about this aftermarket motor mounts i just dont want my car to a shaker a a freakin vabriator o something.

 

theres going to be a significant difference in jimfabs and stock. the stock ones are just rubber that you can flex with your fingers as opposed to jimfabs polyurethane. im not gonna lie and say its not that big of a difference. i can tell a big difference in the two.

as for wheel hop, i don't know yet. i didn't want to get on it because im running lean and have to get her tuned before i put her under boost.

 

well my buddy put that and the full race traction bar in his eg becuase his wheel hop was horrible, and i was hoping to find out which of the two made the biggest improvement... hopefully the motor mounts becuase of the obvious price diffrence.

 

traction bar will make the biggest difference. the mounts will eliminate some wheel hop, but the traction bar will do much more then the mounts.

 

hey u guys i got one more question i went to the track last freiday an i was runnin like **** i wanna know wut are the most basic stuff to tuned my car up i change the oil,filter,and the fuel filter anyelse.it would be a big help for cuz idk y my car is runnin slow i got stuff done to it an i feel like iam not gettin no were any sudgestion plzz. an wuts the best rpm's i need to lunch it was my first time in the track an it was bad....

u could start looking into internals or go fi

intake manifold (not internal), cams, head work, higher comp pistons, etc. or turbo or supercharger.
