i have some and i love em! both the mounts that got em were both ripped so it made a BIG difference...just made the car feel real solid. Definetly a good buy for $20

have them in my GSR. Love them for the lack of movement, motor is rock solid, and shifts are more consistant in feel because of it. I hate them due to the vibration, but it only really vibrates at idle with the a/c on. Oh well.

Plus, your take off in 1st gear seems more defined/solid. Also, giving the car gas during cruising feels solid.
The first time I started my car with them in, it freaked me out, everything shook differently.

Im going to get them b/c my stock rear mount has disintegrated due to strong clutch engagement from my CM 4.....If you have a clutch like this one then the inserts are a must

From what I understand, both Energy Suspension and Prothane make mounts that we can use but the Prothane kit is much stiffer than the Energy Suspension kit.

This is kinda off topic but did any of you guys take the two front engine mounts off totally? I'm talking about the mount that is bolted on to the front drivers side of the engine and also holds the A/C pump on the b Series engines anyways..
And than the other one is the mount that holds the transmission on the side again no the main mount but the little helper one...
I have seen a lot of drag cars without them and I was thinking maybe they are not really needed if you had the inserts or even full polyurithane mounts..
Any thoughts, answers or comments on this would be appriciated....

Re: So who's using motor mount inserts? (newgsr)
when I removed AC in my car, I removed the mount completely, haven't had a problem with engine stability or anything, no increased wheel hop, nothing. I still have the one on the other side of the engine bay, near the tranny.

I've had a set of ES motor mounts boxed up in my trunk waiting until the turbo kit goes on.... Sounds like they will feel more noticeable than I originally expected

I have energy suspension and prothane mounts on my GSR right now. At idle everything shakes, but over 900rpm everything is solid.

Re: So who's using motor mount inserts? (InfamousRS)
I have them for my 97 teg so yeah they will work. His prices cant be beat also. The last thing i would do is take out the torque mounts, your asking for trouble if you do that.
