Default OBD0-OBD1 Question

I was reading bout putting in a GSr in my 91 Integra and they said something about using your old obd0 Injectors. Whats the difference between OBD1 and OBD0 injectors? Do they have different clips or anything? also is there any write ups around on the easier way to put a GSR in an old 91 integra RS?

I have an obdII motor w/ obd0 injectors... although I wasn't the one who did the swap. The one thing I can say is obd0 regulators have a "pulse regulator" silver box looking thing on the driver's side firewall. To make the injectors work w/ obd1 you unplug that, or at least that's what I hear.

Bump for clarity.

Blue is right, on OBD0 injectors you have to have the resistor box, OBD1 you do not need them, so your can make enigne bay look a little cleaner and get the OBD1 injectors, thats what i plan on doing, as soon as i find out which flipping wire harness that i can use for a d15b vtec thats uncut!

if you don't use OBD0 injectors, you might have Engine over heating issue like my friends 90 DX B18B1.. soon as he swap the injectors problem solved

What additional wiring will have to be done. Im gonna have a OBD0 Dizzy on a 98 GSR with obd0 injectors. What other wires do I have to run? Also if I were to put a Ls tranny on it how bad will it hurt times rather then having b16/GSR tranny

what year is your car? are you putting a 98 OBD2A B18C1 motor in your G2?
need more details.

to answer your question for the tranny part. it all depends on what you gonna do with your teg.. if you are going NA your best bet will be change it to short gearing trans like B16/ITR trans. LS tran has longer gearing better for FI.

yea I am putting a OBD2 98 b18c in my 1991 integra. Just usuing obd0 dizz and injectors. I wanna kno if using a LS tranny is still worth it or just go all out and deff get a b16 tranny. I mean if its not gonna be a major difference then ill keep ls for the fuel economy n toppin out at like 130 something

Nope, it's still kinda long geared. Best bet is gs-r tranny.

Well, it depends on your goals. I have a b16 tranny on my b20 and I love it, but I cruise at 4000rpms doing 75mph on the freeway...
