Default Suggestions: H22 headers and exhaust

This summer I am about to get an h22 and i was wondering what aftermarkets headers and exhaust setups with the best results?
Keep in mind I dont want a loud fart can for a muffler.

i've got a custom 2.5" exhaust from the header back (no cat) with a magnaflow muffler and 2 resonators in there as well...it's not horribly loud, but not quiet either...

btw, i see you are from indy...i'm from btown...not too many indiana boys on this board...

Start out with my H22A . I don't think there is really a huge difference in headers so a cheap one would suffice. As far as exhausts go, the ones from Kteller8 are good quality and inexpensively priced.

I did the 4-1 Kamikaze headers with a 2 1/2" cat and 2 1/2" custom exhaust.

keep in mind the downpipe from the h22a header won't bolt up to the accord cat. You'll have to cut one of the flanges and reweld or you'll have to get a custom cat from someone like http://www.kteller.com .

there isn't a huge difference in the cheap dc style headers...but equal length runners with the right merge collector can make huge gains in power...

i went with dc 4-2-1 header with a greddy sp cat back exhaust in my 4th gen; sounds good, and i didnt have to cut or have the header welded to reach the cat. everything bolted up perfectly.

any one can copy a design, but what about quality control . . .you get what you pay for

What model and year car do you have? That would help with knowing what is out there fo your application. A lot of people go with an Apexi WS because it is quiet and looks good, but it does have a huge muffler/tip. You can go with a custom exhaust and that is the best way to get exactly what you want. Talk to Kteller8 on here and he can set you up with everything that you need.
