Default problem with 92 honda civic lx

Ok just recently I bought a 92 honda civic LX. I replaced the CV axels because they needed to be. Day later my car starts running like **** (like it's missing fire). So I got some mechanics to look at it and so they pulled the number 1 spark plug out and my coil blew. so i replaced my coil and it still runs like ****. so i put NGK plugs and wires in and it still runs like ****. so i did a compression test on only one cylinder (the number 2 cylinder because thats the one with low compression) and the test read below 50 pounds. so that tells me i have a bent valve or what? what should i do? should i go ahead and pay someone to do a overhaul? should i board out my motor and put larger pistons in? should i do a motor swap? whichever is cheapest or better off. i want to have this car for long-term please contact me or reply to this message. i can be contacted by email at: chindog69@yahoo.com
I am 19 years old.....my second car. i work at a toyota dealership. im not a mechanic but i do have very smart mechanics who are very very familiar with Honda's, most of the mechanics drive hondas/acuras. i need help please help.

You'll want a d16z6 out of a 92-95 Civic EX/Si.. these go for around 300 bucks, give or take 100

You can also get a D16y8 from a 96-00 Ex, but it's OBD II.

D16Z6 is definately the easiest. All you need is a z6 head, engine wiring harness, and a z6 ecu (like a p28 ecu). Put the z6 head on your a6 block and run with it. I also work at a Toyota dealership and I am the only one who believes in Hondas. Everyone else is toyota toyota blah blah blah. Although I have helped convert one technician into a honda nut from a celica. Go to crx-perf.org and search for mine me swap and it will have all the info you need on doing the swap.

he doesn't have an a6 block. he has a d15b7. you don't need no engine wiring harness for a mini setup.

You're better off getting a used d16z6 engine like said.

I just recently did the head swap on my b7. I was very impressed.went to the track and was able to lay down some better numbers than a friend who had a y8 complete swap in his hatch with I/H/E, aftermarket cam and he's been driving for alot longer than I have. Also my car is completely stock other than the head swap and intake. all you need for this swap is a vtec head, p28 ecu, and the wires to wire up your vtec to your ecu. oh don't forget plug wires because your old ones wont fit. they can be modified but they don't fit right. good luck

yeah, just do the mini me swap. it would only take a few hours to accomplish if you are mechanically inclined. if not I wouldn't start untill the weekend so you have the entire weekend to get everything right.

1. Bent Valve
2. Blown headgasket
3. Blown piston rings

Same difference. Put d16z6 head on d15b7 block. There. Engine harness makes it easier. No put wire here and there. Just plug up and go. Of course a lot of you like doing things the hard way.
