Default LSVTEC question....

i am building a LSvtec and need to know what ARP part number to order for the head studs. is it the B18 or B18GSR or the B16? Thanks

I don't know the part# for the ARP headstuds, but I do know that you need to use B18C1. I decided to use AEBS headstuds on my motor because of the dipple design.

dont they make spec. ls/vtec head bolts/studs?

Golden Eagle makes some now too, that's what I went with on my ls\vtec.

Golden Eagle "HD" Headstuds
Glass bead finish for more accurate torque
- Hex Head Top
- Dog Point Bottom

Do yourself a favor and run the ARP's. I know of a few people that have had problems with the golden eagles due to their non tapered designs. But i also know of a few people that run them with no problems whatsoever. Personally, i like to try and get things right the first time.

if im not mistaken i think you have to call and get numbers from arp for ls/vtecs..my friend just finished his and his box from arp said LS?VTEC b18/b16 cause that was his setup..ls bottom and b16 head..but i dont know that for sure...

Nope, just use the GSR ones.
