Jesus freakin christ, DON'T LISTEN TO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't put B16 studs in there, Use GSR/LS because the B16's are 7/8 of an inch shorter and for that matter, don't use bolts. Get off the 100 bucks and get a set of ARP/GE headstuds for a GSR/LS and have at it.
Putting in the shorter bolts/studs means they don't have a lot of thread to grip when they reach the preferred tq and it will rip the threads out and you will be in the machine shop dropping cash for a timecert kit!

Re: ls vtec question (Jay_Sensing)
you can pick up a set of goldeneagle headstuds for approx 100 bucks + shipping on ebay. pics of them in my build thread.
LOL@buddy telling him he can use b16 bolts in an LSVTEC build.

Re: ls vtec question (sirtef9)
damn, that guy was wrong as expletive. You definately need those GSR headstuds or stock LS over B16.
I also believe the torque sequence should be this.
11 7 3 1 5 9 13
12 8 4 2 6 10 14
This is off the top of my head, so double check your helms manual, but I can guarantee you SiR's swap just knocked with his shitty knowledge.

I have done it both that way and the way the other guy listed. Neither are "wrong" as they are both equally loading the head and HG evenly I suppose. I prefer the way you just listed simply because it's easier to keep track of.
Also, there are only 10 head bolts/studs, not 14 lol.
