they are really good pistons. We are using them on our many projects, especially B20 vtec.

Pistons are (in my opinion) one of the best but it is hard to get a good machine shop which will bore and hone the engine block by their specifications.

don't believe the hype</TD></TR></TABLE>Would you care to tell us exactly WHY they suck,in your opinion?Or do you just get off by bashing others products w/o explaining why.Maybe you are a competing brand or shop??....HUMMMMM.

I've never used them and don't know the pistons weight, but they look like a good idea to me a raised pad on the ends to fit into the B16 chamber for better quench and more compression then a regular B16 slug is a good thing to me.But your probably right a big dome that blocks the flame front is probably a better idea

ok ok guys. i have how do you say been exposed to quite a few sets of these pistons. now the turbo stuff its ok not my choice however. on the all motor stuff no way. they are way to heavy , you don't need a piston dome that big in anything other than a b16 unless its a race app. i am not trying to bash anyone here. i just didn't want to see someone go down that hype path. i'm not sure maybe he has a combustion modeling program that he designed this piston with however i don't think so. i am on the endyn message board also. i have asked him about swirl meters and tumble meters before and no reply. why not if the dude is all about mixture motion i just wanted his opion on a rpm based swirl meter or torque arm which one he liked and i got no response. hmmm makes me wonder this goes back several years ago.

again i don't mean to come across as bashing my mistake i just feel that it is more hype than function.

I think his pistons have some of the smallest domes around compared to other manufactures out there, they seem to promote tumble pretty good in the motors I've builts with them, they do not seem to block flamefront, we push high timing with street gas and do not ping. Larry also has various version piston weights, my favorties are the 250 gasports which are VERY light compaed to many others. His Kuktas are great too, and he also has a custom set of short skirts whcih are very very light ...

Anyway, I've dealt with aquite a few customers who came with Arias/JE/SRP/Wiseco production pistons and wanted me to to trade those blocks for built up ones with Endyn pistons because they were sic of having to run 112 fuel and up all the time cause their motors would ping.

Also, comparing other pistons to the rollerwaves, you can see the handwork done to remove sharp edges, smoothing, etc ... this all helps against detonation.

I would say something but I think Greg pretty much summed it all up!

Good job Greg!!

What is "tumble" I have only been doing this for 30 years and do know what that is, nothing in the intake or exhaust. tumbles at 9000RPM. Swirl , yes ports designed for emmision control and fuel milage at low RPM's . Quench I know what that is, moving the charge to the place of ignition. Tall domes reducing flow at overlap, I know what that is.
That being said, Rollerwaves, and I have used them, are no worse, or better than other off the shelf pistons that fit what you are trying to do. If they match what you are trying to build use them, if there is an off the shelf Wiseco that matches what you want use that. (same mfg.) Probabley the best B-series, off the shelf piston I have seen is a Mahle, next Accralite, just not alot of applications.

we made 242whp with endyn stuff piston, cam, manifold.

don't be a hater because some/most doesn't like it. you have your own mind. test it first, then give your judgement..
