i liked my bc spec 3+'s, heard the IV's are supposed to be even better The 3+'s start to drop off before 9, so if your going to be revving past that which i think you are, the IV's would do u much better.

Are BC4s made by Bigfoot?

Cause like the hairy beast - they are talked about - but never seen in person

They aren't even listed on the Buddy Club USA website

Are Blox made by Lego?

Never heard of them.

I'd stick to the tried and tested manufacturers that back up their product.

Blox B's eat up the BC 3+ after VTEC. I wouldn't go with the BC IV with that setup.

arent the blox b's more of a stage 2 cam? if so, those numbers would be expected over a stage 1 cam...

That's funny. I don't run cams but I'm partial to S2 S2's or Toda B's.

yeah I agree with ITR 98. The spec 4 cams will be wayyy to big. They are better suited for a high compression/stroker setup. I just ordered my spec 3 cams from Password JDM a week ago (on backorder), but searching around on HT, they seem to be the best bang for the buck and I have seen a few people say that the BC4 do put out more peak power, but on a stock type r (or similar setup) they loose to much hp and tourqe across the board.

people say they won't run the bc4's on a near stock itr motor, yet i see some itr owners run toda c's on their near stock blocks.

It should be noted that these dyno tests were on different days and the BC 3+ chart was with a JDM DC 4-1 header and the blox cams were with the Vision header.

BC4's would be too much for stock compression...BC3+'s should be fine with stock valvetrain

That dyno of the blox vs the bc3's is not a good comparasion. It says on the graph that weather temp was 20 degrees cooler with the blox test. That could make a difference in the dyno.
