Default Help got V-tec problems!

i replaced my cam seal about 2 weeks ago and cleaned my vtec filter out. Ever since then my v-tec does not always engage. and when it does engage it is not as loud or powerful as before. It is NOT throwing any codes. Any ideas, did any one else have the problem, of no vtec?
