We need to know a little more about your setup. What kind of mods have you done to the suspension? I've heard of poly bushings making the rear end twitchy over bumps. If your lowered, did you get an alignment? That too will make the car twitchy.

Loose steering can be atributed to a mall-adjusted steering tensioner. Look up steering in your helms manual. In that section you should find "steering effort check" & "steering gearbox adjustment". These will probably help you fix that problem.

If there is rattling within the steering gearbox, you should look at your inner tie rods (#1), steering gearbox adjustment (#4), and inner rack end bushing (#10).

How about starting out with a 4 wheel alignment?

Followed by a "steering gearbox adjustment"...

i noticed that nobody mention that tires have a big effect on weather or not the car will pull to a crack or bump in the road. some of the tread patters have more of a natural tendancy to do that and others dont. i have the nitto neogens in a 225/45zr17 and they do pull into cracks and bumps in the road. just somthing to think about

It can make it tighter or looser. That is what it adjusts...
