Default maintenance light

00 gsr < when i start the car it blinks 10 times, is this normal or should i have it checked out?

it's normal,just letting you know your due for a schedual maintence.soon it will stay on and just needs to be reset.The button is under the right side of the dash.

its got 33k on it now. it doesnt stay on it just blinks 10 times at start up. dunno?

Its a reminder light to let you know you should go in and get your car serviced. Its programmed into the ECU (I believe) at regular mile intervals to let you know you need to get your car serviced. After a while, if you ignore the blinking light, it will just stay on as a constant reminder.

There is small button under your steering wheel dash that can be pressed and held that turns the blinking light off.

it will eventually stay on , you just need to press the button under the dash, with the car off and the key on.

how often does it do this , it already came on at 23k or 25k i cant remember and i reset it. just dont know if its supposed to do this everytime i need an oil change or what.

The light comes on at 7500 mile intervals between resets. It's just a dummy light and doesn't mean that there is anything wrong.
