fellas, please help clear this up. i'm trying to help my friend repair his 95 hatch, and it is a theft recovery. the people that stole it tore the ignition out of the column, and in the process of looking for another one to replace it, some sellers have a jdm unit. i didnt find a usdm one yet, but if the jdm igntion is the same, that gives us more options.

yup, the ignition in the steering column which is often either damaged or lost in the event of a theft

As far as i know the ignition switches are reletively the same no changes in anything but before you go use one fro the jdm model just trace the wires and compare them to your usdm one ... it should be the same considering thats alot of **** to change for such a simple part lol Good luck
