Default Axle On '94 Accord Gone Bad....

I think i have bad axle on the left side which is on the driver side, and everytime i drive the car, and when i step on the gas pedal, the car would start to shake like hell, and i could feel it coming from under the car where the axle would be on the driver side and right now i could hear that clunk sqeeky sound.... and its very annoying so, i was just wondering if anybody that have had a bad axle before, Does it do this to your car?

sounds like an unbalanced tire...

one way to check your axle is to turn in the direction that you think is bad... in this case turn left and accelerate while turning.

if the axle is bad itll click and pop like crazy.
very noticable

I had the same problem, it didn't click like crazy but did make the car shutter like crazy. Easy fix though, just buy a remanufactured one and swap it out.

For sure it is your axle i just replaced my h22 swapped civic ones.. your feel clicking when you hit the gas and the car leans to one side...knocks moderetely hard rite?yes it is your axle for sure get them replaced...they are 60 bucks when you give them your old axle at AUTOZONE...life time guarentee..just tell em your car aint lowered or anything..
to take em off you'll need these items:
-32mm socket
-14&17mm sockets
-thread locker

should take 20 min max to do it

When doing this job, can you jack stand both sides of the car and take care of both axels at the same time, or is it best to do it one at a time?

one at a time just incase you forget how to reassemble the parts. the other side will be for reference until you get to them.

are you going to have two people working on the car, one on each side?

no, just me and this would be my first time doing it. The spindle nut I assume will be relatively easy to get to and see once the tire is off right?
