Default Maybe Timing Belt Tensionor Problem?

i just got my swapped motor to start a couple of hours ago. well, i timed my cam gears and my crank pulley is set to tdc. i re -tensioned my t-belt and everything. when i started the motor, it rocked a lot. it looks as if its about to stall out. i assure you, all my motor mounts are bolted down to spec. the motor would rock back and forth alot, and finally, when i kind of revved the engine, the timing belt came loose and m y cam gears werent spinning. i heard a very loud ticking noise. as soon as i heard it, i killed the motor. what could the problem be? i tensioned/tuned my timing belt.
could i have bent a valve? what could the rocking of my engine be? please help!
