I was wondering if you guys could help me decide on what to do. I want to build my bottom end and i don't want to touch it ever again. Well not til it breaks at least. What do you guys suggest me doing? I wanted to get some CTR pistons/rings etc, but would i need some new rods and other crap? Or could i use my stock ones? Someone told me that if i rebuild my bottom end, i should just pay more for JE pistons, bearings, eagle rods. But those alone will cost around 1000 dollars!! The JE pistons don't raise compression as much as CTR pistons do also.. This is all on a b18c1 head/block btw.
