Default 93 hatch b18c swap does my p28 ecu need to be chippet?

i got my 93 hatch back from the shop they did a b18c swap and used a p28 ecu.. i want to know if this ecu needs to be chippet for this motor swap? bec i dont think they did.. is chipping needed? sorrry im slowly leaning thanks for any help

so my ecu is fine than? just the butterflys will not work with a p28 ecu right....whats the reson for chiping the p28 more hp or other things? ? Would u recommed i chip my ecu? thanks for your help

Basically the p28 is made to run a sohc vtec motor with 125 hp, you can run this ecu with your swap, but you wont get the most out of your 1.8, so its not necessary, but its definaltley recommended

allright thanks alot man.. Could any one recommed a Good chipping methed i should use on my b18c swap? with basic mods I/H/E may be some cams and other lil toys. thanks for the help

Go back to the shop and tell those ******* to give you the correct ECU (p72)

its already vtec... just if u want it mapped differently or to match the b18c specs
